Vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in Lafayette on Saturday afternoon

LAFAYETTE, La. (ENN) — Lafayette Police are currently on the scene of a major vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the 300 block of Verot School Road.

At approximately 12:07 p.m., Lafayette Police say they responded to the above location in reference to a vehicle crash involving injuries.

One victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition. A second victim involved was also transported for treatment of moderate injuries.

The driver of the vehicle reported minor injuries and refused treatment.
