According to a post made by restaurant owners, Lotus Garden Buffet will be closing its doors on January 11.
The beloved restaurant opened 7 years ago, and is located at 2865 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. The owners, Michelle and Micheal, released a statement on Thursday, announcing the closure:
"...we will like to inform all our friends, customers that we finally made the decision of closing our doors and sold to new owners," the owners stated. "January 11th will be our last day in business as lotus garden. We are  sincerely appreciate all our friends’ support and friendship in the past 7 years."
It is unclear as to why the owners decided to close the restaurant and what Lafayette residents can expect to come in its place.
The restaurant owners stated that if you have a unused gift certificate, you are welcome to use it anytime before the closing date, Jan. 11.
