Crowley Police responded to a shooting incident in the 100 block of Avenue E in Acadia Parish on Saturday night.
Despite what rumors say, the shooting was not on the Rice Festival fairgrounds; police confirmed in a statement made on Facebook, stating that the shooting was "NOT ON THE RICE FESTIVAL FAIRGROUNDS!!!"
