A man went on a shooting spree across Lafayette Parish on Tuesday, killing 3 people, then took his own life. The man has been identified as Andrus Jamal Felix, 36, of Lafayette.
The first incidient happened Tuesday morning on Tournoir Street in Lafayette. The man killed has been identified as Ross Chiasson, a 29-year old male.
The second incident occurred in Duson around 5pm in the 400 block of Toby Mouton Road. A 25-year-old local woman was killed.
The third (final) shooting occurred in the 100 block of Clara Street in Lafayette around 6pm. Another woman, a 35-year-old woman, the estranged wife of Felix, was killed.
During the investigation, police found Felix dead after taking his own life. The investigation remains ongoing.
