RAYNE, La (EVEN) - Rayne Police were notified about an unresponsive male in a field on Mervine Kahn Extension on Monday afternoon.
Officers discovered a body of a male victim with gunshot wounds. The investigation determined Darren was shot multiple times by two males that officers are currently attempting to locate.
The body has been identified as Darren Senegal, 20, of Rayne. Officers are withholding additional information until arrests have been made as not to jeopardize the investigation.
