Beau Petitjean wins election for Police Juror of District 5 of Acadia Parish

ACADIA PARISH, LA (EVEN NEWS)- Beau Petitjean is the next Police Juror for District 5 of Acadia Parish.

This news comes after results show that Petitjean achieved victory by winning 52.10% of the vote, with candidate Marietta Leonards closely behind; needing only a little over 250 votes.

Petitjean officially announced his candidacy for Police Juror on May 11. "I look forward to serving my hometown and district residents with honesty, loyalty, & respect," the Police Juror-elect made in a statement.

Petitjean is a 31-year-old father, husband, nurse, and business owner of a local favorite, Jett's Crawfish in Rayne.
