Vehicle catches fire in Scott on Monday afternoon

SCOTT, La (ENN)-- Scott Fire responded to a dispatch regarding a vehicle fire on LA Hwy 93 in Scott, near Renaud Drive.

Fire fighters arrived to the "minor traffic crash" around 3pm on Monday afternoon, fire officials say. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

According to the report, no one was injured. Motorists were turned away from the incident, causing a heavy congestion in traffic, however, the incident was quickly cleared.
