Two injured in shooting in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. (ENN) — Lafayette Police Department responded to the 400 block of Daffodil Loop, in reference to a shooting incident in progress, on Friday around 5:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, LPD Officers located two male victims on scene suffering from a gunshot wound. The victims have been transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

A crime scene was established and LPD Investigators were called out to the crime scene, police say.
