SCOTT, La. (ENN) -- Scott Police officers say a man is dead after getting hit by a vehicle while trying to cross I-10 East near the Scott exit (exit 97).
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. on Thursday night.
Authorities identified the man killed as Harold Airhart Jr., 68, of Scott.Â
Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash. This remains under investigation.
