LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA— The Scott Fire Department, along with assistance from the Carencro, Duson, Mire, and Cankton Fire Departments, responded to a house fire on Rue Novembre in Scott around 1:27am on Monday morning.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, however, it is believed to be due to fireworks left in a garbage can.
