School closures in Acadiana due to freezing cold conditions

ACADIANA, La (EVEN) - With the forecasted cold weather, some school districts are faced to decide whether they'll close their schools or not. Below is a list of updates from the districts:

LAFAYETTE PARISH: All Lafayette Parish schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. School officials will announce updates regarding Wednesday later this week.

ACADIA PARISH: All Acadia Parish schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

EVANGELINE PARISH: All Evangeline Parish schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

IBERIA PARISH: All Iberia Parish schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

ST. MARTIN PARISH: Schools closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Students will participate in continuous learning at home on Wednesday.

ST. LANDRY: All St. Landry Parish schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

ST. MARY PARISH: Schools closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

VERMILION PARISH: Schools closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
