Rayne Police release video of a tractor going down embankment, crossing the road, then catching fire

ACADIA PARISH— Rayne Police responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a 2011 KW tractor and trailer around 11:30am on Thursday.

The tractor was traveling east on I-10 when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway, drove down the embankment, crossed The Boulevard, and then came to rest onto private property. Rayne Vol. Fire Department was dispatched after the tractor caught fire.

The driver of the tractor sustained minor injuries. This accident remains under investigation, according to Police.
