LAFAYETTE, La (ENN)-- Police are investigating a hit and run vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in Lafayette.
The crash occurred around 11:40pm on Friday evening in the 100 block of Verot School Road. Police say the vehicle was driving south in the center lane when thr driver struck the pedestrian who was walking in the center lane. The driver then fled the scene.
The pedestrian was unresponsive upon officer's arrival, and CPR was performed on the victim. The pedestrian remains in critical condition.
