One man shot in early morning shooting in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La (EVEN) – Officers responded to the scene of a shooting in progress in the 100 block of Ricks' Road in Lafayette on early Friday morning around 12:14am.

One male victim was shot multiple times. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries and is listed in critical condition. 

Investigators are still on scene and diligently working this incident.
