LAFAYETTE, La (KADN) -- Allen Media Broadcasting announces that it has reached a joint agreement with Gray Television, Inc. and the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans on an innovative new sports rights deal that will make ten of the Pelicans games during the 2023-24 NBA season available to fans on the NEWS 15 family of stations (KADN FOX 15.1, KLAF-NBC 15.2, MyNetworkTV Acadiana 15.3).
Viewers in the Lafayette television market will now have the opportunity to watch Pelicans games through local television via free, over-the-air broadcasts or through NEWS 15’s carriage across cable and satellite providers in Acadiana.

Calling the Pelicans broadcasts will be Emmy award-winning play-by-play announcer
Joel Meyers, former NBA star and color analyst Antonio Daniels, and sideline reporter
Jennifer Hale. Some of the broadcasts locally will be preceded by the NEWS 15 Pelicans
Preview pre-game show hosted by NEWS 15 Sports Director Will Heren.
