Mobile home fire in Carencro on Monday evening

CARENCRO, La. (ENN) -- Carencro Fire Department, along with Lafayette and Scott Fire Departments responded to a mobile home fire at 701 W. Gloria Switch road in Carencro on Monday evening.

The fire originated in the bedroom around 5:20pm. Fire officials say everyone exited the home safely and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
