Man arrested after invading home in Rayne

Rayne Police responded to a home invasion in progress on Margaret Street on Friday, September 9 at 11:24pm.

Eric Arnaud, a 31 year old male, is being accused of forcing entry through the locked front door of a residence and then attacking multiple people inside the residence with a stool. Arnaud then fled the scene and was eventually apprehend within the block by officers.

Arnaud was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail with one count of home invasion.
