UPDATE: I-10 has reopened
LAFAYETTE, La. (ENN) — The Lafayette Police Department are currently on scene at I-10 and University due to a major traffic accident.
As a result of this accident, I-10 Eastbound is currently shutdown for normal flow of traffic.
Minor injuries have been reported. Roadway is closed due to inoperable vehicles blocking the roadway at the moment.
An update shall be provided once the roadway is cleared to be open, authorities say.
