Lafayette officer-involved shooting on New Center Drive: state police

LAFAYETTE, La. (ENN) – Louisiana State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 1500 block of S. Orange Street. Investigators are working to process the scene and gather further information, authorities say.

One individual was shot and transported to a local hospital for treatment. No officers were harmed during this incident. Additional details will be released when available.
