SCOTT, La. (ENN) - Interstate 10 Westbound lanes near the Scott exit is closed due to a vehicle crash involving multiple commercial vehicles. The crash occurred on Tuesday evening.
Hazmat is on scene due to a hazardous materials spill as a result of the crash.
Both lanes of the westbound side of I-10 in Scott is closed for now while police work the scene. Mills St. overpass is also closed, police say.
Authorities say that Lafayette Police is diverting all traffic onto Ambassador Caffery.
Injuries have been reported.
