RAYNE, La. (ENN) - A high-speed chase in Acadia Parish ended in a crash and a arrest.
Officers with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Rayne Police Department were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle in the afternoon hours of Sunday. The chase came to an abrupt end at the intersection of East Branch Street and Southeastern Avenue in Rayne when the vehicle involved in the chase flipped over.
Police say the stolen vehicle was occupied by multiple individuals.
Some occupants sustained minor injuries. The driver, who was a juvenile, was said to be treated at a local hospital and later arrested.
