ST. TAMMANY PARISH- The two missing girls and a dog from Folsom, Louisiana have been located, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.
"HAPPY UPDATE! We do not have any details to release at this time, but we are very happy to say both girls and their dog have been located and are safe," the sheriff's office stated in a post on Facebook Monday night. "THANK YOU to everyone who helped, especially Louisiana State Police and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for the use of their helicopters!!! 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙂𝙄𝙍𝙇𝙎 𝙃𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝘽𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙁𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘿!!!!"
Louisiana State Police also said that the girls have been found "in good condition."
The two girls and their dog were originally reported missing around 5pm Monday afternoon on Facebook by their mother. "The whole police force and community of Folsom is out looking for our girls. They went missing from our property a little after 5. Our golden retriever is with them," the mother stated on Facebook.
The post (below) received over 30,000 shares in just a couple of hours. Again, the girls and the dog have been found safe.
