Fire fighters respond to a major structure fire in Henderson

HENDERSON, LA (EVEN News)- Fire fighters are on the scene of a major structure fire in the 1300 block of Henderson Levee Road in St. Martin Parish.

The structure ablaze happens to be the building that was formerly known as Whiskey River Landing. Whiskey River was a beloved bar by many Louisiana residents. The owners closed the bar's doors a few years ago.

We have reached out to officials for more information regarding the fire. The building was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.
