SCOTT, La (EVEN) – Police arrested a man in connection to a fatal crash that occurred in August of 2023 in Scott.
Daylan Babineaux, 24, of Church Point was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office with the following charges: (1) vehicular homicide, (1) careless operation, (1) safety belt use: tags indicate.
In the August crash, then 22 y/o Eli Citizen was killed. The driver, Babineaux, sustained serious injuries, while another passenger sustained minor injuries.
