ACADIA PARISH— Acadia Parish will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Day on August 6 at the Rice Arena in Crowley from 8AM to 12PM.
Residents in Acadia Parish are welcome to dispose of certain hazardous waste that may be in their home. Items accepted are automotive products, paint, gardening products, cleaning products, and more (flyer below). Items, such as radioactive waste, PCB or light ballasts, dioxin containing waste, explosives, prescription drugs, bio-hazardous medical waste, and municipal garbage, are not accepted.
Residents will be required to show an ID, proving residency in Acadia Parish. A flyer with more details is attached below.
