5 teens arrested after being accused of breaking into a business in Rayne

RAYNE, La (EVEN) - 5 male teenagers were arrested in relation to an incident that occurred that the Hope Recovery Center, formerly the Rayne-Branch Hospital, in Rayne on Friday, October 27.

Officers responded to the business after a report of suspicious activity around 10 PM and upon arrival, officers found the 5 suspects inside the business.

Officers conducted an investigation and charged 5 suspects with LA R.S. 14:62.4 - Unauthorized entry of a place of business which is a felony.

All five suspects, Gentry Michael Mouton, 18, of Scott, LA, Logan Joseph Alger, 19, of Rayne, LA, Brett Joseph Lorenz, 18, of Carencro LA, Kennedy Cade Castille, 19, of Rayne LA, and Drey Michael Olivera Chamizo, 18, of Rayne LA were booked into the Acadia Parish Jail, each with a bond set for $1,500.
