School closure, opening decisions for Friday due to wintry weather

School districts are slowly announcing their decisions for Friday, relative to the wintry weather Acadiana is projected to undertake. This link will continue to be updated as decisions are announced.
Jeff Davis Parish- OPEN
ALL Jeff Davis Parish schools will be closed for in-person learning. Instead, students will take virtual classes on Friday, January 21.
Lafayette Parish- CLOSED
The Lafayette Parish School System announced that all schools will be closed tomorrow.
Acadia Parish- CLOSED
ALL Acadia Parish schools will be closed on Friday, January 21.
St. Landry Parish- CLOSED
ALL St. Landry parish schools will be closed on Friday, January 21.
St. Mary Parish- CLOSED
ALL St. Mary parish schools will be closed on Friday, January 21.
Vermilion Parish- CLOSED
Vermilion Parish schools will be closed on Friday, January 21.
St. Martin Parish- CLOSED
St. Martin Parish schools will be closed for in-person learning on Friday, January 21. Students will have virtual work in their Google Classroom.
Iberia Parish- CLOSED
Iberia Parish schools will be closed for in-person learning on Friday, January 21, however, students will have to participate in virtual learning.
Evangeline Parish-
no decision has been announced

St. Cecilia School in Broussard will be closed.
Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy will be closed.
